The Olympic Stadium is the sports facility dearest to the hearts of Barcelona’s citizens, the indisputable star of the Olympic apotheosis. An iconic complex playing host to big events!

Visiting times

 

Opening hours/days may be affected by service needs or events taking place there.

 

Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc Lluís Companys:

 

Summer (from 1st April to 31st October): from 10 am to 7 pm.

Winter (from November 1st to March 31st): from 10 am to 5 pm.

On the other hand, when there is a match, the Porta Marató will be closed the day before and on the same day of the match. 

 

Olympic Ring Esplanade:

 

Summer (from April 1st to October 31st): from 6 am to 10 pm.

Winter (from November 1st to March 31st): from 6 am to 8 pm.

Visit the Estadi Olímpic:

You can admire the Olympic cauldron designed by Ramón Bigas even before you enter the Olympic Stadium’s visiting area.  Enter through the Old Marathon Gate, which is dominated by the two equestrian sculptures, entitled “Genets” [Horse riders], making the Olympic salute. These sculptures were created by Pau Gargallo (1881-1934).

End your visit at the Anella Olímpica Esplanade. An area that will surprise you with the beauty and size of the landscape, the combination of architectural styles of the façade of the Olympic Stadium, the Palau Sant Jordi building, sculptures and fountains and the surrounding nature. A place to enjoy in peace and quiet and take spectacular photos.
