The "Boss" comes back
2022-05-24 13:32:03

Bruce Springsteen will perform again at the Olympic Stadium on 28 April 2023, 30 years after his first concert on 11 May 1993 at the Olympic venue. On that occasion he brought together 79,430 spectators, a capacity that is unthinkable today due to the adaptation of the venue to its current evacuation plan (55,000 spectators).

The "Boss" would fill the stadium twice more, on 17/05/2003 in front of 56,000 spectators, and in 2012 with the "double bill" on 17 and 18 May with 55,000 spectators per day.

The Palau Sant Jordi has also been the "Boss's" office on three occasions: on 9 and 11 April 1999 (20,800 spectators per day), 16 October 2002 and 24 October 2006, both sold-out dates (17,960 attendees).

We always hang the "sold-out" sign when Bruce Springsteen visits Barcelona.  And even more so if we take into account that Barcelona will be the start of his European tour and the only city in the territory that will have the opportunity to host Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band.
