We can't help but look back and remember all the shows and events we've hosted that have become part of the history of Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.

Did you know that on this day, July 1, back in 2018, Guns N' Roses performed at the stadium?

It was the band's second concert in Barcelona. But did you know their first performance in the city took place in 1993? That year, the group led by Axl Rose came to Barcelona with the Use Your Illusion Tour, giving fans in Spain the chance to hear songs like Sweet Child O' Mine and Knockin' on Heaven's Door live for the very first time, tracks that have since become true anthems for the band.

Fast forward to 2018, and Guns N' Roses returned with the Not in This Lifetime tour, celebrating their greatest hits. Opening the show with It's So Easy and following it with Mr. Brownstone, the night only got better from there. And that's exactly what happened, because the band never disappoints its fans.

The last time we welcomed Axl, Slash, Duff, Dizzy, Richard, Frank and Melissa to Estadi Olímpic was in June 2025, with the Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things tour. During a three-hour performance, the band delivered an unforgettable night for hard rock fans.

Our relationship with Guns N' Roses began 33 years ago. For now, we can't help feeling nostalgic whenever we hear their music, so... Patience! We hope to welcome them back to Estadi Olímpic again very soon.
