Els ciclistes de La Vuelta finalitzen la segona etapa de Barcelona a l'Estadi Olímpic

The second stage of La Vuelta España 2023 took place yesterday, on August 27th. It started in Mataró at 12 o'clock and concluded in the Catalan capital, specifically at the gates of the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys. The cyclists entered Barcelona through the Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes and tackled the iconic ascent to Montjuïc before finishing at the stadium's entrance.

Danish cyclist Andreas Kron was crowned the winner of the second stage of La Vuelta. Despite adverse weather conditions, Kron showcased his cycling skills and crossed the finish line with an impressive performance. Italian rider Andrea Piccolo also emerged as the leader of the overall classification after a standout performance.

The cyclists celebrated their arrival at the iconic Lluís Companys Olympic Stadium, adding another sporting event to the stadium's history.

With this exciting stage in Barcelona, La Vuelta España 2023 bids farewell to the Catalan city and continues on its journey.
