It has been 7 years since Bruce Springsteen last performed in Barcelona. However, he came back to a city that appreciates him and where he feels very much loved. As an evidence, the concerts held on 28 and 30 April in our city, have been the only venue in the territory, as well as being the starting point of a European tour that will visit 18 cities around the old continent and with 27 concerts.

 Beyond the media hype caused by the attendance of Barack Obama, Steven Spielberg and Tom Hanks, along with the appearance of Michelle Obama on stage, singing to the rhythm of "Glory Days" at the concert on the 28th, the two shows of the singer from New Jersey left us with memories and records, such as the speed with which the 110,000 tickets on sale were sold out.

 "Hola Barcelona, Hola Catalunya, One, two, three, four" ... were the opening words of the Boss's concert at 9pm. Over the course of three hours, the 73-year-old singer and the legendary E-Street Band performed a tour of his greatest hits.

 The "Boss" said goodbye to the audience with "I'll see you in my dreams". We hope we do not have to dream about another Bruce show and we hope to see again soon.

Bruce Springsteen shows were the first two concerts out of 9 that will take place at Estadi Olímpic in 2023.
