Ryan Castro, whose real name is Bryan David Castro Sosa, is a Colombian singer and songwriter born in Medellín in 1994. He began his career singing on buses and streets in his city, and gradually gained recognition thanks to his fresh, street style, heavily influenced by classic reggaeton and dancehall.

His rise was consolidated with songs such as Jordan, Mujeriego and Lejanía, which positioned him as one of the new faces of reggaeton in Latin America. With catchy lyrics, infectious rhythms and a popular and authentic aesthetic, Ryan has managed to connect with the public in a direct and genuine way.

Beyond his voice and charisma, he stands out for representing the spirit of ‘neighbourhood reggaeton,’ maintaining an identity faithful to his roots. Today, Ryan Castro is one of the most promising and influential Colombian urban artists of his generation.
